This is an american bought vehicle, SUPER RARE, and not a "black market" vehicle that was bought in Germany. MSRP was almost $60k at the time and today that would be equivalent to nearly $100k.
All chrome is in fantastic shape. Hard and soft tops included... however needs new soft top. Everything is working as it should, including the air conditioning and heat, as well as all electrical accessories. Regularly serviced and garage kept ONLY. No damage, CLEAN TITLE IN HAND.
Car turns right over, breaks feel good, steering feels aligned, and owner has stated that it haul's a$$ on the highway. There are no obvious issues (other than the soft top and maybe tires). Some of the interior "wood" trimming has started to peal off. A/C blows cold. All the lights work. It's currently registered and valid through 11/12/12. Owner will be paying for the SMOG and we will be coordinating it.
It's by no means is it a concours car, but it could definitely be someone's daily
driver.
